What is BAREBOARDS???
BAREBOARDS began as an initiative to provide members with additional acting opportunities, to view interesting work, get involved in smaller productions as techies, stage managers and to present their own works as writers and directors.
Not all members have the time or opportunity to be involved in one of our main season plays, so this is a wonderful opportunity to dip your toe in, get some experience, network & most importantly, get those creative juices flowing!
BAREBOARDS is open to all members. If you are not a current member, please email me at
secretary@artstheatrecronulla.com.au if you require any assistance on how to update your membership or become a new member.
If you are interested in being involved, we would love to hear from you! Just let us know what role you would like to be involved in, (i.e. actor, director, writer, lighting or sound technician, stage manager, etc).
Writers submitting a play need to do so by midnight, June 30th. Plays can be any length up to 30 minutes. No more than 2 play submissions per writer.
Play selections will be confirmed & auditions will be held mid-July. Dates are yet to be confirmed.
