Introducing the Stratford Players – they’re a small, amateur group located in a sleepy, little village called Stratford in the middle of “Nowheresville”.
Hollywood has-been, ahem…legend, Jefferson Steel, has been cast to play the leading role of Lear in their upcoming production of King Lear. Only problem? He was under the impression he was performing in Stratford-upon-Avon, with the Royal Shakespeare Company! An easy mistake to make…but how will Jefferson handle the news that he will now be acting with a bunch of amateurs? Well, you’ll just have to book a ticket to find out! What I can tell you is – there will be plenty of laughter, tantrums & tears!
