CONGRATULATIONS to all involved for making our Annual Members’ Christmas Party such a success yesterday.
We were treated to some colourful MC work by our President Shirley Miranda, as well as 4 original short plays for our entertainment. The plays were:
1. ‘New School Year’ (2018 Crash Test Drama winner for Best Play)

2. ‘Take Two’

Starring: Angela Gibson
3. ‘The Rabbit Trap’
Written by Graham Yates
Starring: Josh Morel, Riley Marnell & Meili Bookluck
4. ‘Walked Over’
Written by Graham Yates
Starring: Ann Sayegh & Graham Yates
A special mention must go to Graham Yates for his involvement in 3 of the 4 plays. Coordinating the casting, rehearsals, acting, directing & writing duties would not have been easy in such a limited time…but he did it. What a champ!
All the delicious catering was courtesy of super woman – Helen Lambert. She also left our kitchen spotless! Thank you so much Helen for all your efforts.
Much thanks to the Committee for organising the event & the wonderful volunteers behind the scenes for FOH & Tech who made it all run so smoothly.
