CRASH TEST DRAMA Finals for 2018 were held at the theatre on Sunday, November 11th, when 16 talented actors brought 9 disparate plays to life for an audience of around 90.
Melanie Roffey and Sue Turner kindly stepped in to conduct the judging and the prizes went like this:
Best Actress: MARGARETA MOIR for ‘Moth No More’
Best Actor: JAVEN BRIGGS for ‘Spoof App’
Best Play: ‘New School Year’ by LEONIE JORDAN
As always, the audience made their own choices with the results somewhat unusually matching the judges’
1st: ‘New School Year’ by Leonie Jordan (46 votes)
2nd: ‘Spoof App’ by Pete Malicki (44 votes)
3rd: ‘Moth No More’ by Wendy Brooks (23 votes)
So clearly, those three plays made a big impression on audience and judges alike. Well done all!
